About the Role

Lead planning, scheduling, and project control activities throughout tendering and execution phases, working closely with Project Managers.

Develop and maintain integrated, resource-loaded schedules and man-hour budgets to enable accurate cost control and progress forecasting.

Track progress against baselines, analyse schedule variances, assess impacts of scope changes, and recommend corrective actions.

Ensure adherence to critical path methodology, Six Sigma principles, and all internal/external compliance requirements.

Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones within scope, budget, and timeline. Conduct site visits to validate progress, identify risks, and support development of recovery or mitigation plans.

Collaborate to resolve delays, optimize workflows, and implement innovative scheduling solutions.

Escalate scheduling risks or issues to the LPG Lead Planner, Portfolio Leader, or Project Controls Manager, and support resource optimization efforts.

Prepare and deliver regular progress reports, schedule updates, dashboards, and productivity metrics to key stakeholders.

Facilitate effective cross-functional communication, negotiate timelines and deliverables with confidence, and ensure alignment with project realities while maintaining strong collaboration.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, with strong proficiency in project planning, scheduling, control, and reporting.

7–10 years of professional experience in project management, preferably within EPC projects involving electrical scopes of work.

Experience working with Project Management Plans (PMP), Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E).

Proven track record in independently managing large, complex projects and tenders.

Strong expertise in developing and maintaining detailed schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, with a focus on quality and accuracy.

Ability to work effectively from an offshore environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse functional teams.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality digital and project-control outputs.

Fluency in spoken and written English.
