THE ROLE
AMD is seeking an Analog Design Engineer to join our team developing cutting-edge analog and mixed-signal technologies for compute, graphics, and gaming products. In this role, you will contribute to advanced circuit architectures and work closely with cross-functional engineering teams in a highly collaborative environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate with senior engineers on analog architecture development and circuit specifications

Design and simulate transistor-level analog circuits in advanced process nodes

Participate in design reviews and maintain detailed technical documentation

Support system-level verification of analog and mixed-signal designs

Oversee custom layout activities and contribute to silicon bring-up and validation
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Hands-on experience with analog IC design

Familiarity with deep submicron CMOS technologies (FinFET experience preferred)

Academic or practical exposure to analog IC design principles

Experience with analog and mixed-signal circuits such as:

Bandgap references, biasing circuits, comparators, oscillators

SAR ADC, ΔΣ ADC, DAC, PLL, filters, LDOs, amplifiers

Buck and boost converters

Solid understanding of feedback systems and analog fundamentals including mismatch, linearity, and stability

Experience using laboratory equipment for debugging and validation

Basic working knowledge of MATLAB, Verilog, and/or Python
EDUCATION

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
