Key Responsibilities

Lead and support a team of Data Center Technicians to restore and maintain production systems.

Execute global data center standards, SOPs, and workflows at the local site level.

Identify system anomalies, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous process improvement.

Mentor, train, and guide junior technicians on hardware, OS, and network troubleshooting.

Manage server upgrades, system integrations, OS provisioning, rebuilds, and refresh projects.
-
Diagnose and troubleshoot server hardware, Linux OS, Windows Server, and network issues.
-
Perform diagnostics using IPMI, firmware tools, and automated test utilities.
-
Handle hardware decommissioning and asset lifecycle management.
-
Escalate incidents, document issues, and communicate status to leadership teams.
-
Follow all data center safety standards, participate in safety briefings, and complete mandatory training.

Foster a positive, collaborative, and performance-driven team environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong experience in Data Center Operations and Server Hardware Management.

Expertise in hardware diagnostics, cabling management, and rack-level troubleshooting.

Hands-on experience with Linux OS, Windows Server, and WinPE environments.
-
Knowledge of IPMI, BIOS, firmware updates, and diagnostic tools.

Experience with Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3 network troubleshooting.

Ability to work independently and within distributed or cross-functional teams.

Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring or leading technical teams.
-
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Preferred Technical Experience
-
Advanced server component failure analysis and system-level troubleshooting.

Experience with Linux PXE services and automated OS deployment.

Scripting experience in Linux (Bash/Python) and Windows (PowerShell).

Virtual machine setup, configuration, and environment management.
-
Experience supporting enterprise-scale or hyperscale data centers.
Education & Certifications
-
Associate’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.

CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent experience.
-
CompTIA Server+ certification or equivalent experience.
-
CCENT or equivalent networking experience.
-
Windows OS administration experience required.
-
CCNA certification (preferred).
-
MCP / MCSE certification (preferred).
