This internship is designed to provide hands-on exposure to modern DevOps practices, cloud technologies, and automation tools that support mission-critical systems used by public safety agencies and enterprises worldwide.
As a DevOps Intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers to support the development, deployment, monitoring, and optimization of scalable and secure software platforms. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about cloud computing, automation, and building reliable systems, and who are eager to learn in a fast-paced, real-world engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in building, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines

Support cloud infrastructure setup, monitoring, and optimization

Work with containerization and orchestration tools under guidance

Participate in automation of deployment, testing, and operational tasks

Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to support DevOps initiatives

Help monitor system performance, availability, and reliability

Troubleshoot basic infrastructure and deployment issues

Document processes, configurations, and best practices

Learn and apply DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles
Required Skills and Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

Basic understanding of DevOps concepts, CI/CD, and cloud computing

Familiarity with Linux or Unix-based operating systems

Basic knowledge of at least one scripting or programming language (Python, Bash, Java, or similar)
