CIGNEX is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Python API with DevOps Developer with 4–6 years of experience to join our growing technology team. This role is ideal for a professional who has strong expertise in Python-based API development combined with hands-on DevOps experience to build, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
As part of CIGNEX, you will work on enterprise-grade digital transformation projects for global clients, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design robust backend services and automate deployment pipelines. You will play a key role in ensuring application reliability, performance, and continuous delivery in modern cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Python-based RESTful APIs and backend services

Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes

Implement DevOps best practices for infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and scaling

Work closely with frontend developers, architects, QA, and cloud teams to deliver end-to-end solutions

Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes

Ensure application security, performance optimization, and high availability

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and participate in root cause analysis

Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and process improvements

Support cloud infrastructure operations and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Python programming with experience in API frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django REST Framework)

Hands-on experience with RESTful API design, integration, and performance optimization

Solid experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines

Experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes preferred)

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)

Strong understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentals
