About the Role
Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Program Specialist I to join our Program Management Development Rotational Program—a fast-paced, career-accelerating opportunity designed to give you hands-on experience across all aspects of Program Management.
In this role, you will coordinate program activities, track progress, and ensure projects meet their objectives. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will develop practical skills while contributing to the success of our aerospace initiatives. This program provides structured rotations, mentorship, and targeted learning experiences to help you build a strong foundation for a future Program Manager role at Honeywell.
You will report to a Senior Program Director and gain exposure to the end-to-end operations of our Integrated Program Teams, learning critical aspects of change management, milestone achievement, and process efficiency.
What You’ll Do
- Participate in New Product Development across multiple functions, including program controls, project engineering, program management, ISC engineering, sourcing, and the full lifecycle from proposal to production.
- Support program teams in resolving critical issues, achieving metrics, and learning the responsibilities of the Integrated Program Team.
- Complete rotational assignments and evaluations as designed in the Program Management Development curriculum.
- Track program progress, monitor performance metrics, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and program efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Recently graduated (within the last 12 months) with a degree in Program Management or a related field.
- U.S. citizenship (compliance with U.S. export control laws).
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Program Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Experience in aerospace program management or exposure to project management in complex environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to adapt in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
- Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and best practices.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively.
- Experience working in diverse, global teams.
