Takeda Pharmaceutical is seeking a highly analytical and strategically minded Data Analyst to support the US Medical Digital Engagement & Insights function. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing digital engagement data across medical affairs platforms to generate insights that enhance scientific exchange, stakeholder engagement, and evidence-based decision-making.
You will collaborate closely with Medical Affairs, Digital, IT, Compliance, and Analytics teams to deliver high-quality insights that support Takeda’s patient-centric mission. Key Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret digital engagement data from medical affairs platforms, including HCP interactions, virtual events, omnichannel campaigns, and content usage.

Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and analytical reports to track engagement, effectiveness, and impact.

Partner with Medical Affairs and Digital teams to translate business questions into actionable analytical solutions.

Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with medical strategy and compliance requirements.

Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting systems.

Support advanced analytics initiatives, including segmentation, trend analysis, and performance measurement.

Prepare clear and concise presentations of insights for senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Adhere to Takeda’s data governance, privacy, and regulatory standards (e.g., GxP, HIPAA, internal compliance policies).

Contribute to continuous improvement of analytics tools, processes, and methodologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Life Sciences, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Strong experience in data analysis and business intelligence within healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industries.

Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel for data extraction and analysis.

Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

Understanding of digital engagement metrics and omnichannel analytics.

Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience

3–6 years of relevant experience in data analytics, reporting, or insights roles.

Prior experience supporting Medical Affairs, Commercial, or Digital functions in a pharmaceutical or biotech environment is highly preferred.

Experience working in regulated environments with strict data privacy and compliance requirements.
