Takeda Pharmaceutical is seeking a highly analytical and strategically minded Data Analyst to support the US Medical Digital Engagement & Insights function. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing digital engagement data across medical affairs platforms to generate insights that enhance scientific exchange, stakeholder engagement, and evidence-based decision-making.

You will collaborate closely with Medical Affairs, Digital, IT, Compliance, and Analytics teams to deliver high-quality insights that support Takeda’s patient-centric mission. This position is ideal for a data professional who thrives in a regulated environment and is passionate about leveraging data to improve healthcare outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret digital engagement data from medical affairs platforms, including HCP interactions, virtual events, omnichannel campaigns, and content usage.

  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and analytical reports to track engagement, effectiveness, and impact.

  • Partner with Medical Affairs and Digital teams to translate business questions into actionable analytical solutions.

  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with medical strategy and compliance requirements.

  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting systems.

  • Support advanced analytics initiatives, including segmentation, trend analysis, and performance measurement.

  • Prepare clear and concise presentations of insights for senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

  • Adhere to Takeda’s data governance, privacy, and regulatory standards (e.g., GxP, HIPAA, internal compliance policies).

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of analytics tools, processes, and methodologies.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Life Sciences, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • Strong experience in data analysis and business intelligence within healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industries.

  • Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel for data extraction and analysis.

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

  • Understanding of digital engagement metrics and omnichannel analytics.

  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.


Experience

  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in data analytics, reporting, or insights roles.

  • Prior experience supporting Medical Affairs, Commercial, or Digital functions in a pharmaceutical or biotech environment is highly preferred.

  • Experience working in regulated environments with strict data privacy and compliance requirements.


Working Hours

  • Full-time position

  • Standard US business hours (Monday to Friday)

  • Hybrid or remote flexibility may be available based on role requirements and location
