Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Associate to support quality inspection and data analysis of jet engine hardware. This role involves interpreting engineering specifications, collecting precise measurement data, and collaborating with the analysis team to ensure accurate reporting. The ideal candidate is proficient in digital and manual measurement tools, Microsoft Office, and has prior experience in aerospace inspection or engineering quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately interpret engineering drawings, customer and company specifications, sampling procedures, and designs.
- Measure and scan unserviceable jet engine hardware using digital technology and manual measurement tools.
- Record, evaluate, and report precise data on hardware condition and distress modes.
- Collaborate with the analysis team to verify data accuracy and completeness.
- Follow strict safety protocols during all operations.
- Maintain equipment through regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Document procedures, findings, and data in a clear and organized manner.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications extensively for reporting and data tracking.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (minimum 2 years).
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and perform basic dimensional/visual inspection (preferably on aviation-related equipment).
- Strong computer literacy and familiarity with digital technology and measurement tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in aviation, robotics, digital technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant quality or engineering work experience.
- Experience with CAD, robotics programming, and computer programming.
