Key Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers.
  • Review and verify invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and prepare relevant reports for management.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations and ensure seamless communication.
  • Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve processes and enhance efficiency within the accounts payable function.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role.
  • Experience in a high-volume transaction environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Flexibility may be required during peak periods.
