Job Summary
As an Amazon Fulfillment Center Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive their orders promptly and accurately. This position involves various tasks within our fulfillment center, including picking, packing, and shipping products. Key Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to established guidelines.
- Quality Control: Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet Amazons standards before shipment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory tracking and organization, ensuring shelves are stocked and products are readily available.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery as required.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets and improve operational efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Ability to read and understand instructions in English.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Capable of standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or warehouse management software is a plus.
Working Hours
- Full-time and part-time positions available, with varying shifts to accommodate operational needs.
