Amazon Warehouse Worker – Evening Shifts

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to Amazons quality and efficiency standards.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and effectively.
• Perform routine checks on products and packaging to ensure that orders are correct and meet company quality standards.
• Efficiently manage inventory, including organizing and restocking shelves as needed.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet and exceed productivity targets.
• Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with Amazons procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Experience:

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with operating warehouse equipment is advantageous but not mandatory as training will be provided.

Working Hours:

• Evening shifts typically start from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to learn new tasks quickly and adapt to changes in processes or technology.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and technology is a plus.
