Role Purpose:
Support the finance team in various accounting and financial reporting activities to ensure accurate and timely financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with inventory adjustments and annual stock counts, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
- Support daily banking activities and cash flow reporting.
- Participate in month-end closing tasks, including balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and preparing consolidated approval packs.
- Manage fixed assets, including capitalization, disposals, and verification.
- Handle accounts receivable processes such as raising sales orders, chasing overdue payments, and performing debt analysis.
- Prepare monthly KPI reports and dashboards for the wider finance team.
- Assist the Company Accountant in preparing documentation for external audits and conduct ad hoc financial analysis.

Knowledge & Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- GCSE Mathematics and English Language at grade 5 or above.
- Note: This role is not suitable for candidates currently pursuing higher education at university level.
