About the Role
As an Apprentice Test Technician, you will be hands-on in a high-performance environment—learning how to set up, test, and sign off on components, sub-assemblies, and complete Power Units. You will work to the highest quality standards, helping keep our competitive edge on and off the track.
This 42-month tailored development programme gives you broad exposure to engineering within Formula 1 and advanced technology projects. Supported by experienced mentors and colleagues, you will gain both theoretical and practical knowledge essential for a successful career in engineering.

What You will Gain
You will work while studying towards an Advanced Apprenticeship Standard, including a HNC in Engineering or equivalent (IMechE accredited). By the end of your apprenticeship, you will have the skills to:
- Set up and configure test facilities such as dynamometers and test rigs
- Execute tests on components, assemblies, and full Power Units
- Analyse test results and troubleshoot any issues
- Collaborate with engineering and other departments to optimise product development
- Follow and help refine standard operating procedures for testing
- Drive improvements through Continuous Improvement initiatives
