The Infrastructure Technology Specialist provides expert guidance across the infrastructure technology domain, supporting IT Operations in delivering the organization’s infrastructure vision and strategy. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing technology solutions that align with business objectives, while staying abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with project managers to translate business needs into technical requirements, recommending cost-effective solutions aligned with ISA architectural principles.

Evaluate external vendors and products, providing input on business cases and technology decisions.

Conduct market research to identify and implement best practices, emerging trends, and innovative technologies that deliver value to ISA clients.

Deliver and manage infrastructure projects, ensuring technical solutions are tested, implemented, and documented effectively, including user guides, training manuals, and system specifications.

Provide technical expertise to optimize operational procedures, utilizing network management and application performance tools to ensure infrastructure effectiveness.

Support IT teams to maintain agreed service levels, including status reporting, complex incident/problem resolution (3rd level support), and client assistance.

Ensure network security by updating software, analyzing requirements, monitoring traffic, implementing policies, and configuring security tools (SIEM, firewalls, anti-virus software, WAF, Office 365, Load Balancer, Endpoint Security, DLP, Patch Management).

Liaise with SOC teams for incident response and coordinated security actions.

Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to technology infrastructure, developing backup and recovery plans.

Lead and mentor technology teams, demonstrating technologies and facilitating knowledge sharing across ISA.

Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including project managers, business users, and IT teams.

Provide expert guidance on security best practices to staff, managers, and executives.

Perform additional duties as assigned by line management.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in IT Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.

ITIL Certification.

Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, MCSE, RHEL, CISSP, CCNA, or Security+.

Fluent in English.
