Job Title: Cable and Harness Assembler
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Cable and Harness Assembler to join our production team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for assembling cables, wires, and related components in compliance with IPC-620, MIL-SPEC standards, and customer specifications. You’ll perform various manual tasks and use both hand tools and automated equipment to ensure high-quality output.
Key Responsibilities

Assemble wire, cable, sleeving, and other materials according to detailed work instructions and specifications.

Perform tasks such as:

Connector loading
-
Wire/cable twisting
-
Label and ty-wrap installation
-
Potting, soldering, and terminations
-
Assembly preparation and layout using harness boards

Operate wire stripping and other manual tools safely and effectively.

Verify traveler and job documentation for accuracy, including part numbers, revisions, and quantities.

Inspect components for physical damage or defects before use.

Sign off work orders and ensure proper traceability for all completed steps.

Package and label finished assemblies safely and according to standards.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Follow all safety procedures and report any potential hazards to supervisors.

Adhere to attendance policies and scheduled breaks.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or department manager.
Required Skills & Experience

Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, schematics, and safety guidelines.

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

3–5 months of relevant experience in electronics or cable assembly.
Preferred Qualifications
-
IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-A-610, and J-STD-001 certifications.

Proficiency in soldering, crimping, and general electronic assembly techniques.

Familiarity with MIL-SPEC standards is a plus.
