Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Sanitation

Cleans and maintains the bakery area, including work surfaces, display cases, coolers, and equipment.

Follows company policies and food safety standards for handling, packaging, labeling, and storing products.

Operates and sanitizes bakery tools and equipment while using approved chemicals and cleaning supplies safely.
Merchandising & Presentation

Stocks and organizes bakery merchandise to maintain a full, fresh, and visually appealing display.

Ensures proper pricing, labeling, and signing of products.

Removes damaged or expired items and secures fragile or high-shrink merchandise.
Product Decoration & Production
-
Prepares bakery items based on daily production schedules and special orders.

Follows recipes and decorating guidelines to ensure consistent quality and accuracy in designs.

Uses decorating tools and techniques to create flowers, lettering, and other approved designs on cakes, cupcakes, and pastries.

Wraps, labels, and stores finished products correctly.
Member Service

Provides friendly, efficient service by greeting members, assisting with product selection, and taking custom orders in person or by phone.

Manages production timelines to ensure orders are completed and delivered on schedule.

Addresses member questions, concerns, and feedback to ensure satisfaction.
Safety & Compliance

Follows all safety standards and procedures, including conducting regular safety checks and reporting unsafe conditions.

Adheres to proper equipment use and handling guidelines, including forklift spotting and steel safety standards.
Sales Floor Maintenance

Maintains a clean, organized, and well-stocked bakery area.

Properly processes claims, returns, and damages to reduce shrink and maintain product integrity.
