Role Overview:

As a key member of a dynamic cross-functional team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the management of our client’s renewable energy assets (solar, wind, BESS) and ensuring compliance with related contractual obligations. You’ll assist in optimizing portfolios, track deliverables, and contribute to reporting and financial tasks. This position is ideal for someone eager to develop in the renewable energy sector while contributing to the success of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn and Support: Gain in-depth knowledge of the commercial, regulatory, and reporting requirements for renewable energy portfolios. Ensure compliance with all project agreements for assets like solar, wind, and BESS.

  • Task Management: Use Radian Digital software to help manage tasks, track operations, administer contracts, and ensure financial and regulatory compliance.

  • Reporting & Analysis: Assist in preparing performance and analytical reports. Analyze project data, including weather and operational metrics, to support performance tracking and reporting.

  • Document & Data Management: Maintain organized project documents using document administration platforms and data rooms. Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports and compliance documents (e.g., FERC, EIA).

  • Billing & Revenue: Support invoicing, revenue tracking, SREC administration, and other financial deliverables.

  • SOP Documentation: Learn the processes for documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Problem Resolution: Provide proactive support for troubleshooting and issue resolution, ensuring projects run smoothly.

  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications & Education:

  • Education: B.E/B.Tech in Engineering or a related field from a recognized university.

  • Experience: Prior experience in renewable energy or power generation is preferred.

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable with presentations and documentation.

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with grid-tied photovoltaic (solar), wind, or BESS system design, operation, and management is a plus.

Required Software Proficiency:

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project) and Adobe PDF toolsets.

Preferred Experience:

  • Renewable Energy Assets: At least 1 year of experience managing or operating solar, wind, or BESS assets.

  • Customer Service: Prior experience in customer service roles, ensuring smooth interactions with clients.

  • Business Writing: Experience in business writing, particularly in a technical or service-oriented environment.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Strong experience in data analysis, reporting, and presentation of findings.

  • U.S.-Based Experience: Experience with U.S.-based renewable energy companies is an added advantage.

  • Asset Management Systems: Familiarity with asset management software and third-party monitoring platforms.

Preferred Skills & Competencies:

  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with solar PV, wind, and BESS equipment/system design.

  • Project Types: Experience with C&I (commercial & industrial) and utility-scale renewable energy projects.

  • Contract Knowledge: Understanding of commercial renewable energy contracts.

  • Analytical Skills: Experience with cost-benefit analysis, performance reporting, and project presentations.

  • Problem Solving: Strong skills in root cause analysis and problem resolution.

  • Customer Focus: Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on providing high-quality customer service.
