Job Summary:
The Elite Job is looking for a skilled and dynamic Bio Medical Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining medical equipment and devices. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, test, and implement medical devices and equipment used in healthcare settings.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to understand their needs and improve existing systems.
- Conduct research and development to advance medical technologies and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain medical devices, ensuring they meet quality standards and perform safely.
- Ensure that medical equipment and devices comply with safety regulations and health standards.
- Train healthcare personnel on the proper usage and maintenance of medical devices.
- Assist in the management of projects from design through implementation, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to.
- Provide technical support and resolve any issues related to the use of medical equipment.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in biomedical engineering technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of medical equipment, systems, and technologies.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance (FDA, ISO 13485, etc.).
- Proficiency in using CAD software for designing medical equipment.
- Solid understanding of materials, electronics, and mechanics related to biomedical engineering.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
Experience:
- Freshers or candidates with 1-2 years of experience in biomedical engineering or a related field.
- Experience working with medical devices and equipment, and knowledge of their maintenance and repair is preferred.
Working Hours:
- Full-time position (Monday to Friday).
- Occasional on-call shifts or overtime may be required, depending on project deadlines and urgent maintenance needs.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong analytical and technical skills to troubleshoot complex medical devices.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Knowledge of biomedical instrumentation and sensors.
- Familiarity with medical device lifecycle management.
- Understanding of human anatomy and medical practices is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
