Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Building Automation Controls Programmer to join our team. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and program control systems for HVAC, lighting, and other building systems.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians to design and implement automation solutions.
- Write, test, and troubleshoot control logic and sequence of operations based on project specifications.
- Conduct system commissioning, diagnostics, and performance analysis to ensure functionality.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and team members on automation systems.
- Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including wiring diagrams and system schematics.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in building automation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in programming languages used in building automation (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, Niagara, or similar).
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and building operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Familiarity with software tools for programming, troubleshooting, and diagnostics in building automation.
Experience
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
- 2-4 years of experience in building automation systems programming or a similar role.
- Experience with tools like Tridium Niagara, Honeywell, or Schneider Electric systems is a plus.
Working Hours
- Full-time role with flexible working hours.
