Key Responsibilities

• Conduct simulations, analysis, and feasibility studies for process improvement and scaling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, operations, and quality assurance, to align project goals and optimize production.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, process flow diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• Troubleshoot process issues, implement corrective actions, and provide technical support to plant operations.
• Evaluate and select equipment, materials, and vendors to ensure optimal project outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards throughout all project stages.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
• Proficiency in chemical process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and experience with CAD software.
• Strong knowledge of chemical process design, thermodynamics, and reaction engineering.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct detailed analytical assessments.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations, including HAZOP studies and risk assessments.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and communicate complex technical information to various stakeholders.

Experience

• 0-3 years of experience in chemical process engineering or a related field, with exposure to industrial design preferred.
• Internship or project-based experience in industrial chemical processes is advantageous.
• Experience in project management and technical report writing.

Working Hours

• Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Flexibility for occasional extended hours based on project needs.
