Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop chemical processes for industrial applications, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance.
- Oversee and coordinate project phases, from initial design to final implementation, while adhering to timelines and budget constraints.
- Conduct simulations, analysis, and feasibility studies for process improvement and scaling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, operations, and quality assurance, to align project goals and optimize production.
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, process flow diagrams, and equipment specifications.
- Troubleshoot process issues, implement corrective actions, and provide technical support to plant operations.
- Evaluate and select equipment, materials, and vendors to ensure optimal project outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards throughout all project stages.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
- Proficiency in chemical process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and experience with CAD software.
- Strong knowledge of chemical process design, thermodynamics, and reaction engineering.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct detailed analytical assessments.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations, including HAZOP studies and risk assessments.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and communicate complex technical information to various stakeholders.
Experience
- 0-3 years of experience in chemical process engineering or a related field, with exposure to industrial design preferred.
- Internship or project-based experience in industrial chemical processes is advantageous.
- Experience in project management and technical report writing.
Working Hours
- Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Flexibility for occasional extended hours based on project needs.
