Job Summary
Fresher Jobs is seeking a motivated and skilled Civil & Structural Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing structural systems for a variety of projects, ensuring they meet safety, regulatory, and client requirements. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovation in design, a strong foundation in engineering principles, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and design structural plans and specifications for various projects, including residential, commercial, and infrastructure.
- Conduct structural analysis using advanced software and engineering techniques to ensure designs meet industry standards and codes.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to integrate structural designs with overall project plans.
- Prepare detailed engineering reports and documentation, including calculations, design sketches, and material specifications.
- Review and assess project proposals, identifying potential challenges and recommending solutions.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes impacting civil and structural engineering.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SAP2000, ETABS, etc.).
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and construction methods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations.
Experience
- 0-3 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, with internships or project work considered valuable.
- Experience in project management or coordinating with multiple stakeholders is a plus.
Working Hours
- Full-time position, typically Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with occasional overtime as needed to meet project deadlines.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills to solve engineering problems.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and engineering software.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
