Job Summary:
At Fresher Job, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Civil Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of structures, ensuring they meet safety standards and project specifications. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Analysis: Develop detailed designs and structural analysis for various projects including buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure. Utilize engineering software to create models and simulations.
- Project Management: Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget. Prepare and present design proposals and progress reports.
- Site Inspections: Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, assess structural integrity, and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare and review technical documentation, including design calculations, drawings, and specifications. Ensure all documents are accurate and compliant with industry standards.
- Problem Solving: Identify potential structural issues and develop practical solutions to address challenges that arise during the design and construction phases.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations. Ensure all designs and construction practices meet these regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, or similar. Strong understanding of structural analysis, design principles, and materials.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail. Ability to perform complex calculations and interpret data effectively.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to convey technical information to non-engineering stakeholders and collaborate effectively with team members.
Experience:
- Experience Level: Entry-level to 3 years of experience in civil or structural engineering. Internships or co-op experiences will be considered.
- Relevant Projects: Demonstrated experience with structural design and analysis on academic or professional projects is preferred.
Working Hours:
- Standard Hours: Full-time position with standard working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime may be required depending on project deadlines.
