Job Summary
Fresher Jobs is seeking a dedicated and innovative Civil Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for the design, analysis, and implementation of structural projects. As a Civil Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions that meet our clients needs while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze structural systems for various projects, including residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to create integrated project plans.
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, calculations, and design documentation.
- Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis programs to produce accurate designs.
- Ensure all projects comply with local building codes and regulations.
- Participate in project meetings, providing technical expertise and updates on progress.
- Mentor junior engineers and interns, fostering a culture of learning and development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred or in progress.
- Proficient in structural analysis software and CAD tools.
- Strong understanding of building materials, construction methods, and structural design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
Experience
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in civil/structural engineering, preferably in a consulting or construction environment.
- Experience with project management and coordination is a plus.
- Familiarity with sustainable design practices and green building certifications (e.g., LEED) is advantageous.
Working Hours
This is a full-time position, with standard working hours from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday. Flexibility may be required based on project demands.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- In-depth knowledge of structural design principles and practices.
- Ability to interpret and analyze engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
