Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems for various projects, including residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to create integrated project plans.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, calculations, and design documentation.
• Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis programs to produce accurate designs.
• Ensure all projects comply with local building codes and regulations.
• Participate in project meetings, providing technical expertise and updates on progress.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns, fostering a culture of learning and development.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred or in progress.
• Proficient in structural analysis software and CAD tools.
• Strong understanding of building materials, construction methods, and structural design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.

Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in civil/structural engineering, preferably in a consulting or construction environment.
• Experience with project management and coordination is a plus.
• Familiarity with sustainable design practices and green building certifications (e.g., LEED) is advantageous.

Working Hours

This is a full-time position, with standard working hours from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday. Flexibility may be required based on project demands.

• In-depth knowledge of structural design principles and practices.
• Ability to interpret and analyze engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
