Job Summary
Fresher Jobs is seeking a dedicated and skilled Class A/B CDL Commercial Front Load Truck Driver to join our team. Key Responsibilities
- Operate front load trucks to collect and transport waste and recyclable materials from residential and commercial customers.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of routes, collections, and any incidents that occur during transport.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety guidelines while on the road.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to ensure timely service delivery.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck and equipment.
- Attend safety meetings and training sessions to enhance driving skills and stay updated on best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate front load trucks and other heavy machinery.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and handle heavy loads.
Experience
- Previous experience as a commercial truck driver preferred, especially in waste management or similar industries.
- Experience with front load truck operations is a plus.
Working Hours
- Full-time position with varying shifts; weekend availability may be required.
