Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and mileage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations, ensuring the highest level of safety for yourself and others on the road.
- Assist in loading and unloading cargo as needed, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, performing routine maintenance checks and reporting any mechanical issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate various types of trucks and trailers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic mechanical skills for vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Class A CDL Driver preferred.
- Experience in long-haul and/or regional driving is a plus.
- Familiarity with GPS and other navigation tools.
Working Hours:
- Full-time position with varying schedules, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Flexibility to work extended hours and overtime as needed.
