Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. This role involves placing, finishing, and repairing concrete foundations, slabs, driveways, and flatwork for residential and commercial projects.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with formwork, surface preparation, and concrete finishing tools, with a strong commitment to job site safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Place, level, and finish concrete for slabs, foundations, sidewalks, driveways, and curbs

• Set up and strip formwork according to site specifications and drawings

• Operate power trowels, screeds, edgers, and hand tools to achieve desired finishes

• Apply curing, sealing, or surface treatments as required

• Ensure accurate grade and slope using laser levels and string lines

• Patch and repair finished surfaces as needed

• Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, materials, and work area

• Work with crew members and supervisors to meet project timelines

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Concrete Finisher in residential or commercial construction

• Knowledge of concrete types, finishing techniques, and formwork systems

• Ability to read site plans and construction layouts

• Skilled in using concrete tools and power equipment safely

• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials and working long hours on foot

• Reliable transportation to and from job sites

• Safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS, Fall Protection) are an asset

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
