Key Responsibilities

Gain hands-on experience in cycle-accurate CPU core microarchitecture performance simulation, including workload and trace analysis, RTL-to-performance model correlation, and microarchitecture evaluation.

Work closely with a cross-functional team of hardware and software engineers to design and implement innovative features that enhance CPU microarchitecture performance.

Partner with CPU designers and architects to support broader architectural initiatives and help drive continuous improvements in performance modeling methodologies, tools, and workflows.
Preferred Experience & Skills

Strong proficiency in C++ along with scripting languages for automation and analysis.

Solid foundation in computer architecture, gained through academic coursework and/or professional experience.

Experience developing or working with cycle-accurate microarchitecture performance simulators.

Hands-on exposure to pre-silicon performance analysis and modeling techniques.

Working knowledge of system software, including operating systems, compilers, and application-level workloads.

Demonstrated technical leadership, curiosity, and persistence, evidenced by published research papers, patents, or equivalent industry contributions.
Academic Qualifications

Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Electrical and Computer Engineering.
