Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is seeking a detail-oriented, empathetic, and professional Customer Service Representative (Non-IT) to join our growing remote support team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing assistance with inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction across various communication channels including phone, email, and chat. This is a work-from-home opportunity, ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced virtual environment and have strong interpersonal skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound customer communication via phone, chat, and email in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.

  • Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, or issues effectively while maintaining a positive customer experience.

  • Accurately document customer interactions in CRM tools and follow up as required.

  • Escalate complex problems to appropriate departments when necessary.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the customer experience and internal processes.

  • Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge to ensure accurate information is delivered to customers.

  • Meet or exceed established service level targets and performance metrics.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Strong customer-first attitude and active listening skills.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a remote setting.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Comfortable working with various online platforms, CRM systems, and productivity tools.

  • Reliable internet connection and a distraction-free home office setup.


Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role (preferably remote).

  • Previous experience in non-IT sectors such as retail, e-commerce, telecom, banking, or insurance is an added advantage.

  • Freshers with exceptional communication skills and a willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.


Working Hours

  • Flexible shift options available: Day and Evening Shifts.

  • Minimum commitment of 6–8 hours per day, 5 days a week.

  • Weekend availability may be required based on business needs.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and customer support software.

  • Patience and resilience when dealing with difficult customer interactions.

  • A collaborative attitude with a willingness to adapt and learn in a remote team environment.
