Job Summary
Fresher Jobs is looking for a dynamic and customer-oriented Customer Support Specialist to join our remote team. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are eager to assist customers with their inquiries. The role requires a commitment to providing excellent service while working in the early morning shift and weekends, supporting customers based in various time zones. As a Customer Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for customers, resolving issues, providing guidance, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries through email, chat, and phone support in a professional manner.
- Address and resolve customer complaints, issues, and requests effectively and efficiently.
- Provide accurate information regarding products, services, and troubleshooting steps.
- Maintain a detailed record of customer interactions, including inquiries, issues, and resolutions.
- Collaborate with team members and departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Assist with onboarding new customers and educating them on product usage.
- Continuously update knowledge base articles and customer-facing documentation.
- Identify recurring customer issues and provide feedback to improve processes and product offerings.
- Meet or exceed individual and team performance targets for customer satisfaction and response times.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong customer service skills with a genuine desire to help others.
- Problem-solving abilities to handle complex customer inquiries.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Comfortable working in early morning shifts and on weekends.
- Proficiency in using customer support software, chat platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A positive, patient, and empathetic attitude when interacting with customers.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience
- Previous experience in a customer support or customer service role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience working remotely or in an early shift environment is a plus.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service are encouraged to apply.
Working Hours
- Early morning shift: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM IST
- Weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday): Required as part of the regular schedule.
- Flexibility to work in different time zones may be required based on customer needs.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and de-escalate tense situations.
- Technical aptitude to understand and communicate product issues or troubleshooting steps.
- Knowledge of customer support best practices and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Proficient in CRM software and other customer support tools.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
