Job Summary
Fresher Jobs is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customs Specialist for our Evening Shift. Key Responsibilities
- Review and process customs documentation for imports and exports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customs inquiries from clients and government authorities.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely clearance of shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of all customs transactions and documentation.
- Monitor and stay updated on changes in customs regulations and policies.
- Prepare and submit necessary reports and documentation to regulatory bodies.
- Provide training and support to team members on customs procedures and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of customs regulations and procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using customs software and other relevant technology.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Experience
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in customs operations or a similar role.
- Experience in handling customs compliance and documentation for a variety of goods.
- Familiarity with international trade laws and tariffs is preferred.
Working Hours
- Evening Shift: Monday to Friday, 4 PM to 12 AM
