Responsibilities
- Work across the full data lifecycle from engineering and data sourcing to building advanced visualizations, machine learning models, and experimental analyses.
- Produce insight-driven reports on macro and sector-specific trends across areas such as DeFi, NFTs, Gaming, Metaverse, Layer 1/Layer 2 ecosystems, and Middleware.
- Analyze and interpret large volumes of on-chain transactional and operational data (across both EVM and non-EVM chains) using proprietary and open-source data platforms and analytical toolkits.
- Handle and process confidential information in accordance with internal data governance and security guidelines.
- Design and manage the full reporting environment, including data sources, data pipelines, security configurations, and metadata frameworks.
- Troubleshoot and optimize the reporting database infrastructure, dashboards, and analytics workflows.
Requirements
- Deep passion for Web3 data, with strong understanding of major crypto sectors and familiarity with mechanisms and leading players within each vertical.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
- 3+ years of relevant experience; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in data engineering, data modeling, and ETL processes; experience with data sourcing and working with APIs preferred.
- Hands-on experience querying data using SQL, GraphQL, and Python.
- Prior use of tools such as Dune Analytics, Flipside, Nansen, or similar blockchain analytics platforms.
- Ability to read and understand project smart contracts and strong knowledge of the Web3 infrastructure stack.
- Familiarity with addressing formats and metadata standards across multiple public blockchains.
