KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Understand, maintain, and enhance existing features related to power delivery, thermal management, and reliability in CPU cores

Design and develop new features to improve performance, efficiency, and robustness of AMD CPU cores

Collaborate closely with architects, hardware designers, power integrity, thermal, and reliability engineers across teams
-
Contribute to design reviews, verification, and continuous improvement of silicon design methodologies
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
-
Experience with IP-level silicon design methodologies
-
Strong fundamentals in Electrical Engineering
-
Proficiency in Verilog, SystemVerilog, C, and C++
-
Hands-on experience with circuit simulation and finite element analysis tools
-
Experience automating workflows in distributed compute environments
-
C++ development experience on Linux, with exposure to Windows platforms
-
Scripting experience with Perl, Ruby, Makefiles, and Shell
-
Prior exposure to technical leadership or mentorship is a plus
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS
-
Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
