Job Summary:
As a Deskside Support Engineer at Progressive Technology, you will provide high-level technical support to our remote workforce, ensuring the efficient operation of desktop systems and resolving technical issues. You will be the primary point of contact for employees experiencing hardware and software problems, delivering solutions in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Offer comprehensive support for hardware, software, and network issues encountered by employees.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to desktop systems, printers, and peripherals.
- Installation and Configuration: Set up, install, and configure desktop hardware and software according to company standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of support requests, solutions provided, and inventory of hardware and software.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members and departments to escalate complex issues and implement solutions.
- Training: Provide guidance and training to employees on the use of new technologies and best practices.
- Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on desktops, ensuring systems are up-to-date and secure.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as common software applications.

Experience:
