QA Engineer – DevOps & Automation

Key Responsibilities
✅ Quality Engineering & Automation
- Design, implement, and manage automated QA workflows across services and repositories.
- Enforce linting and code quality standards (e.g., ESLint, Prettier, Flake8).
- Develop GitHub Actions pipelines for unit, integration, and static analysis testing.
🔁 CI/CD & Deployment Pipelines
- Architect and maintain CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions for hotfix, staging, and production environments.
- Automate tagging, fast-forward merges, and nightly releases.
- Integrate security scans, dependency audits, and coverage reports.
☁️ AWS Infrastructure & Tooling
- Automate validation and provisioning of AWS resources (ECS, RDS, Lambda, IAM).
- Implement compliance checks and environment lifecycle automation (spin-up/tear-down).
- Monitor and enhance scalability using infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
🧪 Tooling & Developer Enablement
- Build reusable test libraries for APIs, scheduling engines, OCR, and pricing engines.
- Design QA-first tools for multi-tenant systems, billing verification, and API cost tracking.
- Work cross-functionally to create testable architectures and enable developer velocity.
What We are Looking For
Must-Have Skills
- Solid experience as a QA Engineer or SDET in a cloud-native SaaS environment.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.
- Proficient in Python and Bash scripting.
- Strong working knowledge of AWS (ECS, Lambda, RDS, IAM).
- Skilled in Docker, Kubernetes, and container-based QA practices.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, PyTest, Jest).
- Comfortable with code linting, static analysis, and quality gatekeeping.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architectures.
- Familiarity with Stripe Connect, dynamic pricing, and billing workflows.
- Exposure to AI/ML pipelines and automated data quality checks.
- Understanding of compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
