KPIT is seeking a highly skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer who is available to join immediately. This role is critical to supporting KPIT’s advanced engineering and digital transformation initiatives, particularly in the automotive and embedded systems domains. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in DevOps tools, cloud platforms, and automation practices, with a passion for building reliable, scalable, and secure systems.
As a DevOps Engineer at KPIT, you will collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline software delivery pipelines, improve system reliability, and enable continuous integration and deployment across complex, enterprise-grade environments.
Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for application and platform delivery

Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices

Manage and support cloud and on-premise environments to ensure high availability and performance

Work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the SDLC

Monitor system health, performance, and security, and respond to incidents proactively

Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and performance issues across environments

Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions
-
Support release management, version control, and environment management activities
-
Contribute to process improvement, documentation, and operational excellence initiatives
Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar)

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration

Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.)

Scripting and automation skills using Bash, Python, or similar languages

Experience with version control systems such as Git

Understanding of security best practices in DevOps environments
Experience

3 to 7 years of relevant experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles

Experience working in enterprise-scale or engineering-driven environments

Immediate availability or short notice period is mandatory
