Job Summary

The Director of Human Resources – Site Operations will lead and oversee all HR-related functions for designated site locations, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and fostering a high-performance culture. This role is responsible for strategic HR planning, talent management, compliance, and creating initiatives that drive employee engagement and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with site-specific operational goals.
    • Partner with senior leadership to provide insights and recommendations on workforce planning and organizational design.
  2. Talent Management:
    • Lead recruitment efforts to attract and retain top talent.
    • Oversee employee onboarding, training, and career development programs.
    • Establish succession planning strategies to ensure leadership continuity.
  3. Employee Relations:
    • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
    • Mediate and resolve employee concerns and grievances effectively.
    • Ensure consistent application of policies and procedures across the site.
  4. Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR compliance requirements and implement changes as needed.
  5. Performance Management:
    • Drive the performance review process to promote continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals.
    • Implement programs that recognize and reward employee contributions.
  6. HR Metrics & Reporting:
    • Analyze workforce data to inform decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
    • Present regular updates and reports to executive leadership.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, labor relations, and compliance.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proven ability to lead large teams and manage cross-functional projects.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analytics tools.

Experience

  • Extensive experience in HR operations within multi-site organizations.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing strategic HR initiatives.
  • Background in manufacturing, technology, or similar industries is a plus.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position with flexibility to manage site visits and attend leadership meetings.
  • Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with occasional evenings or weekends as required.
