We are hiring a skilled Drywall Installer to join our growing construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in hanging, cutting, and finishing drywall in both residential homes and retail/commercial units. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to meet project deadlines are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install drywall panels to walls, ceilings, and partitions

• Secure drywall sheets using screws, nails, or adhesives

• Tape joints and prepare surfaces using compound and finishing tools

• Sand and smooth drywall for a seamless, paint-ready surface

• Repair or patch damaged drywall sections as required

• Interpret blueprints and layout instructions accurately

• Maintain a clean, safe worksite and follow all safety regulations

• Work independently or as part of a crew to meet daily goals

• Communicate with project supervisors about material needs or challenges

Qualifications and Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience installing and finishing drywall in residential or commercial projects

• Proficient in taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing techniques

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights or in tight spaces

• Own hand tools and PPE (power tools are an asset)

• Reliable transportation to various job sites

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
