Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing / Electrical Methods Engineer with strong experience in the railway industry to support production and engineering activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in manufacturing processes, work instructions, and engineering change management, along with proficiency in CATIA V5 and enterprise systems such as SAP and ENOVIA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support production activities and manufacturing engineering processes.

  • Develop and maintain manufacturing work instructions.

  • Manage engineering documentation including MODs, CRs (Change Requests), and QNs (Quality Notifications).

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production support and process improvements.

  • Work with Bill of Materials (BOM), routings, and configuration management in ERP systems such as SAP.

  • Ensure compliance with Quality, EHS, and ergonomic standards.

  • Provide technical support for manufacturing and production teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the railway industry.

  • Strong experience in Process Engineering and manufacturing documentation.

  • Hands-on experience supporting production activities and manufacturing instructions.

  • Experience working with ERP systems (preferably SAP) for BOM management, routing, and configuration tracking.

  • Associate Degree in Engineering, Natural Sciences, or a related field.

  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).

Highly Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in the rail industry.

  • Experience working on the NJT Multilevel Train Project (design or manufacturing).

  • Hands-on experience with:

    • CATIA V5 (Expert Level)

    • 3D-COM / ENOVIA

    • PDM

    • SAP VSM / SAP GSI

  • Knowledge of harness design or manufacturing (preferred for Electrical Methods Engineers).
