Role & Responsibilities
As an Engineering Compliance Analyst at Radian Generation, you’ll play a key role in supporting our clients’ compliance needs by executing engineering analyses related to NERC standards. Your responsibilities will include:

Independently conducting NERC standard engineering analyses for 1-3 projects at a time.

Determining applicable NERC standards and engineering analyses required for each project in your portfolio.

Collaborating with Compliance Managers to ensure that Requests for Information (RFIs) are accurate and deliverables meet client expectations.

Assisting Compliance Managers in evaluating compliance, developing corrective action plans, and facilitating communications with regulators regarding compliance issues.

Tracking project timelines to ensure regular reviews and that client deliverables are completed on time.

Performing or reviewing various NERC compliance studies, including FAC-008, PRC-005, PRC-019, PRC-024, PRC-025, PRC-026, PRC-027, MOD-025, MOD-026, MOD-027, and MOD-032.

Conducting high-level bulk power system studies using power system software tools such as PSS/e, PSCAD, Aspen, ETAP, and PSLF.

Reviewing engineering studies on new technologies, like inverters and Battery Energy Storage Systems, which may require coordination with equipment vendors.

Processing, generating, and maintaining engineering data for related studies.

Taking ownership of your assigned projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and with the highest quality standards.

Participating in client calls and project updates as necessary.

Following standard operating procedures, providing feedback on improving processes, and contributing to team-wide improvements.

Leading the resolution of moderately complex problems within the team.

Representing the team in client communications and internal discussions.

Coaching and mentoring newer team members on processes and responsibilities.

Leading small-scale team improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Education

Working knowledge of Compliance & Risk Engineering.

Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills.
-
A University degree with 2-4 years of experience in the domain, or a Master’s degree with 0-2 years of experience in the field.
Experience Required

2-4 years of experience in the renewable energy or compliance engineering domain.
Preferred Experience
-
2+ years of experience supporting compliance engineering for NERC programs.

Experience in customer service within a technical context.

Process improvement experience.
