Operational Excellence
- Collaborates with the Maintenance Manager to review assigned task cards, ensuring a complete understanding of work scope, priorities, documentation requirements, and safety considerations before starting tasks.
- Prepares and performs scheduled aircraft maintenance according to assigned task cards, ensuring the correct documentation, parts, tools, and ground support equipment (GSE) are used per issued instructions.
- Conducts aircraft inspections and tests to identify and document any defects or damage in accordance with approved maintenance procedures.
- Troubleshoots and rectifies defects following Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and guidance provided by the Engineering Department.
- Signs off on maintenance tasks performed or supervised within the scope of authorization, ensuring that task cards and associated documentation meet required standards upon completion.
- Coordinates with other Engineers and Technicians regarding assigned tasks to ensure continuity, proper handover, and effective communication.
Safety
- Ensures the safety of all assigned maintenance activities by following all published mandatory precautions prior to and during task execution.
- Proactively protects self and others from potential hazards by using appropriate GSE and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Applies human factors principles to maintain continuity of critical maintenance tasks, avoiding interruptions, and ensuring proper handover procedures are followed.
