Key Responsibilities
- Analyse large-scale empirical test data to develop models and derive actionable insights that enhance AMD’s Quality and Reliability (Q&R) performance.
- Evaluate the quality and reliability impact of product design and test decisions, providing data-driven feedback to support new features and continuous improvements.
- Investigate customer-reported failure issues, build risk assessment models, and recommend effective mitigation strategies for both immediate resolution and long-term prevention.
- Design and implement predictive systems to forecast quality and reliability for new products, validating predictions against real-world field data to refine future models.
- Perform test pattern and test flow analysis with a strong focus on quality, reliability, and process optimization.
Preferred Experience
- Foundational knowledge of semiconductor device physics.
- Strong understanding of statistical methods and data analysis techniques.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python for data analysis and modeling.
- Experience developing mathematical models to represent real-world systems, processes, and datasets.
- Hands-on experience working with databases and querying data using SQL.
Academic Credentials
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
