Entry-Level Data Entry Specialist (Remote)

Job Summary:

FedEx is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Data Entry Specialist to join our remote workforce. Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter data into FedExs databases and systems with a high level of precision.
  • Review and verify data for discrepancies or errors and make necessary corrections.
  • Maintain and update records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Generate and compile reports as needed to support various departments.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of data entry procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to address data-related issues and ensure seamless workflow.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders by responding to data inquiries and requests promptly.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associates or bachelors degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent accuracy in data entry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with data management systems and software is an advantage.
  • Effective organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Basic problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a data entry or administrative role is preferred but not required.
  • Experience working remotely or in a virtual team environment is a plus.

Working Hours:

  • This is a full-time remote position.
  • Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (EST), with flexibility as needed.
