Job Summary
Fresher Jobs is seeking an experienced and passionate Environmental Manager to lead our sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage environmental policies and programs that align with company goals and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and assess environmental performance, preparing reports on key metrics and recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct environmental impact assessments and audits to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with various departments to integrate sustainable practices into business operations.
- Stay updated on environmental legislation and trends to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.
- Train employees on environmental practices, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for environmental regulatory agencies and stakeholders.
- Lead initiatives to promote awareness of environmental issues and sustainability within the organization and the community.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.
- Professional certification in environmental management (e.g., ISO 14001) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental management or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful environmental programs.
- Experience working with regulatory agencies and understanding compliance requirements.
- Background in a corporate or large organizational environment is highly desirable.
Working Hours
- This position is full-time, with standard working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Flexibility may be required based on project demands and organizational needs.
