Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage environmental policies and programs that align with company goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and assess environmental performance, preparing reports on key metrics and recommendations for improvement.
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments and audits to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with various departments to integrate sustainable practices into business operations.
  • Stay updated on environmental legislation and trends to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Train employees on environmental practices, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for environmental regulatory agencies and stakeholders.
  • Lead initiatives to promote awareness of environmental issues and sustainability within the organization and the community.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.
  • Professional certification in environmental management (e.g., ISO 14001) is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful environmental programs.
  • Experience working with regulatory agencies and understanding compliance requirements.
  • Background in a corporate or large organizational environment is highly desirable.

Working Hours

  • This position is full-time, with standard working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Flexibility may be required based on project demands and organizational needs.
