Key Responsibilities

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Ph.D. preferred).
  • Proven experience in teaching programming courses at the college level.
  • Strong understanding of programming concepts and languages, with the ability to teach diverse skill levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and faculty.
  • Familiarity with current educational technologies and online learning platforms.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in higher education, with a focus on programming and software development.
  • Experience in curriculum development and academic advising is a plus.
  • A track record of professional development, such as attending conferences or publishing in relevant fields.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position, typically 40 hours per week.
  • Flexibility to accommodate evening or weekend classes as needed.
  • Participation in faculty meetings and departmental events outside regular hours may be required.
