Join our world championship-winning Formula 1 team as an Apprentice Electro-Mechanical Inspector and develop hands-on experience using cutting-edge metrology, electrical testing, and non-destructive inspection techniques. What You Will Learn and Develop
By the end of your apprenticeship, you will be able to:
- Inspect and confirm the quality of complex components to exacting standards using first-principle inspection techniques and advanced metrology tools, referencing engineering drawings and CAD models
- Develop CNC-based measurement strategies for complex prismatic components
- Interpret and apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and international quality standards (e.g. ISO, DIN, ANSI)
- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and other departments to optimize inspection and measurement processes
- Create, maintain, and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various processes
- Inspect PCBs, looms, and harnesses to IPC 610/620 electrical standards
- Handle and inspect ESS battery components
- Perform advanced non-destructive testing (NDT), including radiography using X-ray and Computed Tomography (CT), to inspect sealed electrical and mechanical assemblies
- Actively contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives
