Areas of Opportunity

Formula One

  • Calibration & Controls:
    Define and deliver calibration and control system innovations that optimise energy flow, achieving the fastest qualifying and race laps while ensuring exceptional driveability.
  • Mechatronics & Chassis Engineering:
    Design and develop new concepts, integrate the power unit with the chassis, and advance the ERS pack — combining both electronic and mechanical systems.
  • Test Engineering:
    Recreate real-world race environments through advanced testing. Collaborate across Mechanical, Electrical and Dyno Controls teams to push the Power Unit and its sub-systems to their absolute limits, ensuring world-class performance before deployment on track.

    Define and deliver next-generation control and calibration systems that maximise performance, optimise energy deployment, and provide exceptional driva

Requirements:

  • A 2:1 degree or above in Software Engineering, Controls Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Strong academic background in Maths and Sciences (A Level or equivalent)
  • A solid understanding of engineering first principles
  • Practical, hands-on experience to complement your academic studies
  • Excellent communication, creativity, and adaptability
  • A proactive attitude — willing to challenge, be challenged, and continuously learn
