Formula One Division

At the heart of our Formula One operation lies a shared mission: to push boundaries, optimise performance, and redefine speed. Across our specialist teams, you will contribute to cutting-edge engineering projects that directly impact race results.

  • Calibration & Controls:
    Develop and deliver innovative calibration and control systems that optimise energy flows for the fastest qualifying and race laps. You will enhance driveability and performance through intelligent system design.

  • Mechatronics & Chassis Engineering:
    Design and integrate new concepts that bring together power unit and chassis systems. You will contribute to developing both the electronic and mechanical components of our ERS (Energy Recovery System) pack.

  • Test Engineering:
    Recreate the racetrack environment in our state-of-the-art facilities. Engineer and operate test rigs that push components and systems of the Power Unit to their limits, validating performance and simulation data.


Advanced Technology Division

In Advanced Technology, our goal is to make Mercedes a leader in electric drive systems — delivering excellence in performance, efficiency, and sustainability.

  • Advanced Technology Software:
    Design and implement control and calibration systems that maximise performance, optimise energy deployment, and deliver outstanding drivability for future road-going and prototype vehicles.

What We are Looking For

We are seeking curious, driven, and creative individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments.

Essential requirements:

  • On track for a 2:1 (or higher) in Software, Controls, Electrical, Electronics, or a related Engineering discipline

  • Strong academic background in Maths or Sciences

  • Sound understanding of engineering fundamentals

  • Hands-on practical experience to complement academic work

  • Excellent communication, adaptability, and problem-solving skills

  • Confidence to challenge and be challenged, continuously expanding your technical expertise
