About the Role
Ramp is, at its core, an engineering-driven company on a mission to build one of the best engineering teams in the U.S. We’re looking for Frontend and Full-Stack Engineering Interns who are excited to help shape our early journey and contribute to a diverse, vibrant tech community.
The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in JavaScript, a passion for building fast, high-quality web experiences, and a creative mindset for solving real customer problems. Our frontend stack includes TypeScript, React, Vite, and Ryu, our in-house design system.
What You’ll Do
- Build performant, elegant, and user-friendly interfaces for growing businesses with complex needs
- Ship products and features as part of cross-functional teams
- Partner with sales and business teams to translate customer feedback into scalable product solutions
- Help define and improve engineering processes, tools, and systems to support team and codebase growth
What You’ll Need
- Currently pursuing a B.S. (or higher) in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Ideal for candidates graduating around May 2026, with a deferred start date in Summer/Fall 2026
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and an eye for polished UI/UX
- Experience with at least one object-oriented programming language
- A track record of shipping high-quality features, products, or personal/side projects
- Ability to translate business and product ideas into technical solutions
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with a desire to continuously learn and grow
- Alignment with Ramp’s mission to help businesses grow more by spending less
Nice to Have
- Experience with React v16+
- Familiarity with, or interest in learning, parts of our broader stack, including Flask (Python), Elixir, AWS, RabbitMQ, and PostgreSQL
- Passion for, or curiosity about, financial technology
