Job Summary
Fresher Jobs is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Home-based QA Tester to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough testing of software applications, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Develop, document, and maintain test cases, test plans, and testing documentation.
- Identify, record, and track bugs and defects using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Execute manual and automated test scripts and analyze results to ensure software meets functional and performance requirements.
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings and provide status updates on testing activities.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and testing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in test case creation, execution, and bug tracking.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting.
Experience
- Previous experience in software testing or quality assurance is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in a home-based or remote work environment is a plus.
