Job Summary
Fresher Jobs is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Executive – Payroll to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and providing employee support on payroll-related matters. This role demands precision, strong communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursements.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including salaries, bonuses, deductions, and leaves.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory obligations such as EPF, ESI, TDS, etc.
- Address employee queries related to payroll, benefits, and deductions.
- Collaborate with the HR and finance departments to reconcile payroll accounts.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and other stakeholders.
- Assist in the onboarding and offboarding process regarding payroll setup and final settlements.
- Stay updated on payroll software tools and HR technology advancements to streamline operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in payroll management or HR operations, preferably 2+ years.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and HR software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Zoho People, etc.).
- Excellent understanding of statutory compliance and tax regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience
- 2+ years in HR operations or payroll administration.
- Experience with payroll software and compliance management is a must.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
- Flexible working hours and remote options available based on workload and company policy.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Knowledge of emerging HR trends and practices.
- Familiarity with employee benefits administration is an advantage.
